Ok so it’s 2020 and a lot of you are telling us you’re ready to get back into a routine and start feeling stronger and healthier.
But what exactly does this entail? At Starr Pilates we are firm believers that small consistent changes lead to big results. Last week we shared with you how two Starr Pilates classes a week can be just as effective (if not more) than hours at the gym. In case you missed it check out our blog post HERE.
This week we are sharing one of our favorite ways to sidestep bingeing. It’s called the HALT Method. Before you ditch any New Year’s Resolutions in favor of finishing ALL the Superbowl Snacks ask yourself these four questions:
Am I Hungry?
Am I Angry?
Am I Lonely?
Am I Tired?
Because let’s face it- you can have the perfect body but still be unhappy. By figuring out what your body really needs you can feel great and look great as well.
A supportive Pilates community is one of our favorite ways to combat loneliness and isolation. Book a private session for one-on-one support or a group class for a weekly (or daily) fun sweat to look forward to. Trust us- whether it’s binge eating or an injury you can’t seem to shake we have been there and we are here to help.
Online booking has already opened up for 2020 so click HERE to reserve your spot. See you in the studio!
This year make it your resolution to work smarter- not harder
We want to tell you a huge secret: it doesn’t take hours at the gym to start feeling different. In fact we believe as little as two Pilates sessions a week can definitely put you on the right track.
Our client below is a busy student who took just 7 classes over the span of 28 days. She made no changes to her diet and did no extra exercise. In fact, this Before and After Challenge fell right during stressful finals week and the Thanksgiving Holiday! You can see in the picture on the left her posture has improved, her waist is smaller and her abs have more definition.
Want to give it a try? Check out our 8 classes in 30 days for $225 special Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. We look forward to seeing you soon!
